As we move in to the 4th Industrial Revolution, what is clear is that for future careers there is a greater need for 21st Century skills and an emphasis in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) to thrive in our ever-changing 21st Century world.

21st Century skills must integrate the core skills that we apply to everyday tasks, an understanding of English, Maths, Science, ICT, and Finance. We believe we must develop critical thinking and problem solving skills, creativity, communication and collaboration skills, as it is these competencies that help us approach complex problems that face the world. Finally, to thrive in our changing environment we believe we must instil the character qualities of curiosity, initiative, persistence, adaptability, leadership and social and cultural awareness.

We believe that through outstanding integrated learning in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths alongside English Communication Skills in providing the environment, curriculum and 21st Century learning experiences that will prepare our students with the skills they need to thrive.
